I have been a resident of Colorado for over 10 years (this go-round) and in that time have seen the economy grow and change at an amazing rate. Colorado has experienced a 13% growth in population since 2000 and has brought with it a growth of business in many sectors. 34% of the adults in Colorado have at least a bachelor’s degree, making it the city with the 3rd highest education rate in the nation. Colorado has a great diversity in its areas of expertise including a robust high tech industry, alternative and renewable energy, the second largest aerospace industry in the U.S., and 14 major federal research laboratories. The Denver Metro area also boasts the 2nd largest Federal Employee population outside of Washington, DC!
