Highlands Neighborhood Information

Highlands (not to be confused with Highlands Ranch, which is 20 miles south) is a classic, hip and historic neighborhood located just minutes from downtown in northwest Denver. The central hub of the community is 32nd Avenue with historical significance as one of Denver’s first streetcar destinations. Today, the street is lined with diverse and unique businesses ranging from original clothing boutiques and art galleries to chocolate shops. Extremely community oriented, merchants and residents serve as hosts for many events, including the annual Highlands Street Fair in the summer, Trick or Treat Street in October, and the Highlands Wine Tasting in the fall.
